Hi. I just moved by domain over from GoDaddy (it was parked by GoDaddy). I figured out I had a registar lock on my site, and took it off. Well, new problem, name servers. What are they? How can I get one? What do they do? What do you reccomend doing? If it helps, when I upload files, and try their URL's, the GoDaddy advertisment is still there and not the files. HELP!

When you sign up at bihira, you will get an email with information on how to connect to FTP and also what nameservers to have your domain route to. You will either have ns1.bihira.com and ns2.bihira.com, or ns3 and ns4, or ns5 and ns6. First you have to unlock your domain, that might take a while. Then click on the Set Nameservers button. Put the lower number you have in the first slot, and the next nameserver in the second slot. Then make the changes and then wait until all the DNS servers get the change to your domain (usually takes 24-48 hours). That should be it.
Of course, that relies on the fact that you have hosting.

I do not see the "set name servers" button in the e-mail. Is it in the C Panel?

No, you go to Godaddy.com. Go to your account. Now select your domain, click on set locking. It will reload and on the right you will see "Apply changes to" and then it will list your domain, or the whole account. Your domain is selected by default, now go below that and select Unlock, then click Save Changes. Now you wait until it is unlocked. When it is, you click on Set Nameservers, and put your name servers in and save changes.
Unless you mean you transferred your domain from GoDaddy to Bihira. But then that doesn't make sense, because BihiraJonathan should have set the nameservers.

I'm not sure if I still have an account at GoDaddy, since I moved the domain here.

Oh, nevermind then. If you transferred the domain to BihiraJonathan, he probably already set up the nameservers, and they just haven't propogated yet. It will take a day or two.

How would you change your site from bihira name servers to a different name server?

If you have your domain controlled my BihiraJonathan, you get him to unlock it and you go to a registrar like GoDaddy and pay to have it transferred, which is usually seven or eight dollars. Then you control your domain, and if you went with GoDaddy, you follow the instructions in my second post. Atleast, that is how it worked when I got my domain from Fuitad Net.
You also need another webhost, and they will give you nameservers to set it to.

If I think I know who you are, you have an open ticket waiting in our support area. You never replied to it, so we could never start transfer process. So your domain is still at GoDaddy. The ticket it still open and you'll need to reply to it, in order to receive your free transfer. If you don't reply to it, you will lose eligibility for free transfer soon.

Any domain with me as a registrar does belong to it's proper owner. However, due to limitations in our billing departments. I will no longer be allowing change of nameservers, while keeping me as a registrar on the domain.
Also I won't allow new domain "only" purchases anymore either. All domains need to go with a hosting package. Once a hosting package is cancelled, you'll need to transfer your domain away.

All communication for now has to be done through support ticket, forums, or email. I'm extremely busy. You'll get a transfer request on tomorrow. After you accept the transfer request, it takes 5 days to transfer between registrars. Once transfer finishes, IĀ?ll go ahead and change your nameservers for you, to our servers.
