I was making unbelievable amounts of money last night, and I logged on today expecting to make more, but NO, the server is down and all the potential traffic I could have had is wasted.

If you don't mind me asking, how many unique visits do you think you would have if the site wasn't down.

Like 15,000 - 20,000. I was making like $15 on ads every hour, and now that my server's down I'm losing a bunch. :mad:

Yes, this downtime is pissing me off as well. It also pisses me off that it usually only happens to server two.

The fact that I havn't seen a staff member online makes me think that nothing is beign done to fix the error :(

I just started up a new forum, to replace another one. So the server goes down, and now everyone probably thinks I abandoned them. I'm really on the end of my rope for tolerating this crap.

Meaning you don't see us on here, doesn't mean the problem is bieng fixed. Usually if an outage is a long time, then the problem is huge on our end (meaning we can't fix it, without physical access) and usually requires talk between me and my datacenter.

The problem consisted of harddive one on that server. Currently the problem is still there (however the server is currently up, for now). I'm going to have to replace that harddrive in order to solve that problem. Which will be done as soon as possible.

I just wish you would mention something instead of coming in after it is all over and say what is going on. I wouldn't mind the downtime as much if you posted or updated the news saying there is a problem with one of the servers, and you are trying to fix it. Instead of everyone sitting here wondering why the server is down, and we have no idea what has happened.

Tell me about it... Whenever there is a downtime, BihiraJonathan is never on AIM, and while I know he's probably doing all he can to fix the problem, it's still reassuring to know you can talk to your host about the problem. I really wish Bihira had a second active staff member. I think NS1987 blocked me or something, he's never online.
